Aubergine Jeans

My goal is to post three times a week Sunday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's - one week completed! Anyway, onto the post. I wore this a couple of weeks ago for a quick lunch time catch up with my friends. I noticed while editing the pictures that my hair is half straight and half wavy (fail!) I promise this is not a new look I'm trying out, my hair is just stupid. I'm due a haircut asap!...

This outfit is my *almost* ideal winter look. I wore a cable knit jumper (if you saw my last post, you will have seen this jumper in another colour already) it's one of my favourite winter pieces, I have so many! I paired the jumper with aubergine leigh jeans. Leigh jeans are my all time favourites, I absolutely love them. I haven't been able to find a pair that fit me as well as these do but I'm on a mission to do so!

The only reason I won't say it's my ideal outfit is because of the denim jacket; if you're from London then you know that it rains all the time! So going out in anything other than a rain proof jacket is a risk but on this occasion it had just finished raining (as you can probably tell from the pavement) so I threw on this denim jacket for a change and hoped for the best! Luckily it didn't rain anymore that day.

In the winter I like to layer different pieces; a denim jacket isn't the warmest so I needed something extra to avoid freezing. I bought this cardigan about 2 years ago and my biggest regret is not buying it in all the colours! It adds something to the look with the faux fur collar; I love collars and find this one is so practical because it's buttoned onto the cardigan - no chance of it not staying in place!

I wore black boots, which are a winter necessity, and my everyday black bag. Accessory wise I wore a pair of gold H&M hoops (if you follow my blog you'll soon discover I have a serious love for hoop earrings) and stacked some gold Forever 21 rings.
