Ready. Set. Bowl.

Black boxy crop top - Primark

So here's another quick look, it's the perfect comfy yet stylish look and so easy to put together. In the winter I'm all about keeping warm and staying comfortable! This isn't what I usually go for, I'm quite girly in the way I dress and this look is a predominantly black one (I think I had to add frilly socks just to feel more girly haha). So I wore this to go bowling with some friends and of course the last thing you want is to feel restricted in your clothes so this is what I put together...

Starting with the leather jacket, needless to say it's my everyday jacket, so easy to throw on and suitable all year round! I layered this look quite a bit because it's so cold outside but when you go indoors it's stupidly hot - who else has this problem ALL winter? For me, the easiest way to overcome this is to layer up. The cardigan kept me nice and warm as well as adding some colour to the look, the dropped waterfall design means it looks a bit more interesting I think! Underneath I wore a simple black cropped T.

I paired this with Joni jeans, how much I love Topshop jeans will quickly become clear, I love these! I usually don't like high waisted jeans because they make me feel uncomfortable and never fit well enough (my hips are much bigger than my waist) but these work well! The only negative I can say about them is that all black jeans (Joni and Leigh especially from my experience) tend to lose colour so quickly after washing.

I wore a pair of cut out boots from Parfois which I had seen in the airport and dwelled over whether or not I should buy them but decided not to.. which was followed by deep regret when I got back to London! But luckily, my auntie was leaving a few days later and she bought them for me. It took me a while to wear them because I'm quite tall so anything with a heel scares me away but I bought a bunch of frilly socks and just went for it - I pretty much love them now (and my vast array of frilly socks haha).

These photos are pretty rubbish, the outfit shots are blurry, followed by some crappy iPhone quality photos.. hope you don't mind, I promise I will try my best to improve!
Hope you liked this look. Let me know what you think in the comments below :)

    1. It's great in the winter days, it's still a dark colour (I'm all about dark colours in the winter) but steering away from typical black! X
