I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm awful at editing photos! There's always something strange going on with the lighting and I show up in all different types of shades.. I hope you don't mind (I should get good at it eventually). The thought of spring has been getting me excited and I instantly opt for bare legs - for some reason I think it's acceptable even if one minute it's sunny and the next there's hailstones. Onto the outfit...
I'm wearing a coat and boots so I'd say this makes the look more weather appropriate but my legs are still out so if it rains I'm screwed! If you read my blog you know by now that fluffy textures are my thing; I love feeling warm and cosy in my jumpers, it's just so perfect. So I'm wearing a black fluffy jumper paired with a flirty black skater skirt which has a pretty contrasting texture.
I wore a black coat because the weather is so unreliable and it does tend to get a bit chilly sometimes so it's not quite time to ditch the coat just yet. I love this one because it's black - coloured coats have been a hit all winter coming into spring - but let's be honest, you need that trusty black coat; one thing is for sure, it will never go out of fashion. Black is so effortless.
These black boots are gorgeous but sooooo pricey! My auntie bought them for me when we went on one of our (many) shopping trips and I didn't quite take in the price until I got to the till and my jaw literally dropped. They are a lovely pair but I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives about! For pops of colour I accessorised with pink and gold; probably two of my favourite colours.
