Style Steal

I think this look is inspired very much by Kim Kardashian's style. She is almost always seen wearing a bodycon midi skirt paired with a crop top. I wanted to style this midi skirt and I was going for a more casual look with this crop top but I think it's still dressy enough for drinks or a casual night out, so perfect for the weekend ahead...

I love this skirt; I'm going to let you into a little secret of mine, this skirt is from New Look teens! Their generation range - I went in store one day with a friend and saw a midi skirt I really liked so I decided to try it on, after all they're a stretchy material, I tried on age 11-12 and it was too big! So this one is age 9 (I'm usually a size 6-8)! I have a few things from their generation brand and they tend to fit fine and they're cheaper too!

This cropped T-shirt is baggy yet still flattering, and has a rough finish with rolled up sleeves which look so effortless. It's perfect to add a statement necklace, like I did, because it's so plain - your jewellery will really pop with this top. I kept to a neutral colour palette asides from the black in the skirt; I stuck to nude tones mostly with my bag and accessories which are gold.

My shoes are from tReds, a high street and online retailer which I had never heard of before! They have a huge range of footwear from different brands as well as their own tReds brand. While browsing through their online catalogue I saw these beauties. These heels are so similar to the Valentino heels that so many people have been wearing all year. And the best bit? These won't break the bank - you can get them for under £15! What a bargain! I chose the white pair because I think they'll look really nice in the summer.
