Collar Crazy

I think one of the great things about blogging and reading other blogs is getting to know new brands; whether it be through other blog posts, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or when new brands get in contact, it's great to be introduced to new things! So today's post features a brand that I had never heard of before but have fallen in love with! So here goes...

How gorgeous is this dress? The detail is so lovely, I love floral prints and this dress has a large daisy print which I love - I don't think it's too in your face despite the flowers being quite large. I also fell in love with the collar on this dress! I don't usually go for collars because I think it only really suits certain people but I really love the way it looks. I think this whole look in general is quite cute and can be worn during the day with ease.

Sometimes I look at a piece and think it's a bit childish or too girly - I don't know if that makes sense to any of you but it's what goes through my mind haha. So in this case, as the dress has a particularly eye-catching print, I decided to tone it down with a rough black contrast. I chose my black boots with frilly socks peeking out, I adore this little detail it's so easy to achieve and softens the look of black boots. I added my go-to leather jacket and black bag. I also chose to wear my fedora! I think it works so well with this look, it fits in perfectly and ties the whole look together. I kept accessories simple and silver.
