I think the title of this post says it all, I'm back in black. I find I gravitate towards black far more in the A/W so I like to experiment with different patterns, prints and textures so that there is a subtle difference between the items I'm wearing. Leather look trousers are the perfect sexy addition to your wardrobe, it's also so easy to style them from day-to-night. A day look like this is a fun take on casual wear and for an evening look adding a smart shirt dresses it up.

I wore a crop top as the trousers are a little high waisted and this lace crop shows barely any skin because of the longer lace detailing (love!). This cape. I've seen a number of oversized scarves, blanket capes and ponchos causing a stir this season. I particularly like the check prints and definitely want to get my hands on one but until then I found this faux-fur cape - experimenting with a trend is easiest when it's in black haha! I also went ahead and tried the whole "tucked in hair" trend, so weird to be talking about hair as a fashion trend, I barely ever change my hairstyle so this was a fun experiment for me - how do you think it looks?
