Fedora - Primark || Duster coat - Primark || Dress - River Island || Boots - River Island via ASOS || Bag - Primark
Well this is a very affordable look, hence the lack of links to items because most are from good old Primark! I've found some amazing pieces in Primark, I keep popping in to see what's new. My most recent purchase is this hat, I really like it - and it was so cheap! The only thing it could do without is the chain bit but that's fairly easy to remove, I just haven't been bothered to. This duster coat has been my favourite piece to reach for since it started to get colder but now I think it might be too cold for it but nonetheless I'm going to start experimenting wearing big jumpers and cardigans underneath and see how it does this winter.
I'm not the biggest fan of shift dresses, mostly because I think they can make you look bigger - especially when you're pear shape like me, the low waistline makes your hips appear far larger, and for someone like me with bigger hips and a smaller bust, it just doesn't look that great. Shift dresses are more suited to top heavy girls as it can help balance out the proportions. With that said, I loved this print and I mean, as a fashion blogger I have to try out most of the trends don't I.. haha, any excuse to shop for me! The rest of the outfit is pretty simple, black boots and a black bag along with some silver accessories.

ReplyDeleteI love the tailoring and look of your River Island zebra print drop waist shift dress! To me your hips look to be very much on the small side - you're quite slim. The dress looks fabulous on you!
