In today's post I thought I'd reminisce a little about 2014. I've tried to stay so on top of blogging during the festive season and haven't taken any breaks so I really feel like I've got a lot of content out recently - if any of you are headed to parties during the upcoming months I think I have you well and truly covered for a while haha! You can see all my going out posts here.
As a bit of a break from all the different outfits (I don't have a never ending wardrobe of clothes to share with you) I thought I'd post my most popular looks this year! I've really loved seeing these types of posts to see how other bloggers' personal styles have evolved and how much changes throughout a year so I'm pretty excited to put together my own.
I've whittled it down to my 10 most popular posts for a little walk down peexo's memory lane...
10) The Chop
I've been contemplating going for the chop again, I definitely don't take as much care of my hair as I should and I'm pretty sure it hasn't seen scissors since this post (crazy I know) but now it's getting a little too long for my liking - the static winter hair just doesn't appeal to me - so I've been toying with the idea of getting it chopped again but I don't know if I'll regret it.
Thoughts?
9) My First Time...
I absolutely loved this look, it combined leopard print (my fave!), a bargain pair of Primark heels (can't go wrong), and monochrome - we have a winner! I'm not surprised it was so popular amongst all of you too; it's probably one of my favourite posts to date.
8) Oh So Retro
This feels like so long ago, back when the sun used to shine haha! I fell in love with this co-ord instantly, Motel Rocks know how to co-ordinate let's just put it that way.
7) My Daily Makeup
I'm so surprised to see a beauty post - I've only done a few beauty posts and this was my first one so I'm really pleased to see it was popular! Hopefully I'll do some more this year as I'm definitely experimenting a lot more with makeup. You can see all my beauty posts here.
6) Not Your Typical Leather Trousers
This one was of my favourite posts when I first started my blog. I really love these trousers and I thought this was such a cool outfit - I didn't really know where I wanted to go with my blog, I still don't think I know where I want to go with it I just know I want to blog. I'd still wear this today in probably the exact same way which is why I think I like it so much.
5) Co-Ordinates
So this co-ord set was definitely a hit! I loved styling it in two different ways because often I find that I'm a little reluctant to show you something too many times as I think it becomes a little too repetitive and probably boring - but in reality, we all wear our clothes more than once - I think I might try and start a little series of different ways to style a key piece just to hopefully give different outfit inspiration.
4) Back In Black
Such an odd one for me! I wasn't too sure with this outfit when I put it together and I didn't know whether or not I wanted to post it or try and create something different using those pieces. But to my surprise it was a huge hit! That's what I love about blogging - if I'm not sure of something I can share it with you and instantly feel reassured or know what I could have worn instead for a different type of look. I'm so pleased this outfit was such a popular one as it was a bit more of a risk for me.
3) Mad About Tartan
This is a MAJOR #throwback! I'm pretty sure this was my first post ever on peexo and it's crazy that it's one of my most popular, although I do think it's partly because of how spaced out my posts were; I started off posting twice a week back when I started. This outfit shows just how much my style has evolved, which I think is inevitable really as you begin to grow older. I'm so happy I got to share my journey on my blog.
2) Eyelash Extensions with Beautytrix [now Flirties beauty]
Another beauty post?! I was so excited to get these eyelash extensions done, I wasn't blessed with the longest of lashes so when I was offered the chance to get some extensions put in I was over the moon! I loved the results and really missed them once they had fallen out, I would definitely like to try out eyelash extensions again and pretend I was blessed with natural long lashes.
1) Finding a Leather Jacket (Coloured Edition)
If you know me you'll know how much I adore my leather jacket, I pretty much wear it with everything. I have a few too many for sure - 3 black, 1 grey, 1 brown and 1 pink - really Patricia? Really? There's no chance I need that many but hey, I'm a fan. I'm embarrassed to say I'm looking for another black one for everyday.. no shame.

I'm super excited to share even more with you in 2015, and I hope you carry on enjoying my blog and what I'm doing as I'm really enjoying being a part of the blogosphere and I can't wait to see what 2015 has to offer!

Ahh thanks Rebekah! My photography has definitely changed quite a bit since I started out and it's still not entirely where I want it to be but it's getting there I hope! Thank you! I'm actually now in a phase where I want blue hair hahaha! X
DeleteAll your looks are perfect! My favourite is probably the Back In Black but they are all equally lovely!! I'm really loving the Miss Selfridge leather jacket that you wear rather often and would love to purchase one online for myself too! But I'm rather unsure about the sizing and it would be wonderful if you can tell me what size yours is as a reference :) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt was a popular one! I was actually surprised to see how much love it got when I posted it. Haha, that's true! I do really love it <3 I always size up with coats and jackets to allow room for jumpers etc underneath - I'm usually a size 8, so mine is a size 10 :) X
