Although I don't commute to work just yet I know plenty of people who are working and on my way to or from university I always see people on their work commute wearing suits and trainers or in a work dress and trainers I guess this outfit is a bit of an ode to them. Although this may not be the perfect look for a smart office situation, it's perfect for a more laid back approach and of course the comfy trainers are a bonus! I can imagine this being worn travelling to the office and then trainers being swapped for a pair of patent black heels for that chic office feel. I love how creative you can be with this outfit, I think this coat has a beautiful cut collar that makes it perfectly appropriate for the smart/casual look.
How would you make the commute to work more comfortable?

So pleased you like it, apparently a similar (probably way more expensive) coat was spotted on Alexa Chung ;) X
