Basics: Little Black Dress

So if you haven't already guessed from my Top 5 Wardrobe Essentials video the only thing left for me to share is the little black dress, and here it is. I cheated a little in the video by sharing two of my favourite dresses but like I mentioned, it's all about your body shape and dressing to suit it, so I thought I'd share both dress styles in two different ways so you can see exactly how easy it is to take one simple piece from day-to-night.

I chose to wear my bodycon as I would to go out but stay tuned for tomorrow's post where you can see just how easy it is to change that up and make it look super casual (I'd also add a long cardigan to the bodycon dress as I find it often rides up). I went for an all black look which seems to be a theme with my basic looks haha, unintentional I promise! I always say it but black is just so timeless and easy to wear so make the most of it. I'm wearing a gorgeous Miss Selfridge bodycon paired with my trusty Topshop leather jacket obviously, and to spruce things up I added my rose gold heels from Dorothy Perkins and new in snake print bag from Marc b, I also have the Liberty bag in cream and red it's just the perfect bag for a night out or a dinner as it holds the essentials.
