Here's the latest midi in my collection, a gorgeous pleated black one which is ideal for twirling around in, it's from Phase Eight which isn't my typical store but the skirt is gorgeous and the quality is unsurprisingly great. I wanted to go for a casual take with the midi and I think this look is perfect in terms of being versatile, it almost looks like I'm wearing a dress! I added a denim shirt from Primark to break up all the black - after all, it is spring - I chose to tie it at the waist as the skirt is high waisted and the bralet is cropped so it sits right on my midriff showing little to no skin. I think a lace bralet is a spring/summer essential and this one from ROMWE is gorgeous, and affordable! I added leopard heels because I really am a sucker for leopard print and some leopard (or tortoise shell) large sunglasses from George at ASDA for added summer vibes.

    You look gorgeous in this simple combination! I also like it a lot, however I would replace the cropped top with a normal top.

      The one I'm wearing is an old one but I found a super similar one from Forever 21 and it's so affordable! I'm the same, but always manage to find some amazing bargains! X
