Heatwave

Is anybody prepared for this heatwave? I am seriously not looking forward to it, the sun in London is just so unpleasant, it's always so hot and stuffy. I'm not opposed to some sunshine in the UK but I think a whopping 36 degrees is a bit too much to handle in the city - whisk me away on holiday though and that's the perfect temperature. Anyway, we'll all have to deal with it somehow and if there were ever a time to get your legs out it's definitely this week! I love these shorts, how cute are they?! I love the lace and tassels, and I also love that they're pink... obviously, these are from Miss Foxy.

I've been wanting a top in this style for so long but they've just been expensive for me to justify, I found one in Primark and snapped it up instantly. I think it works really well with shorts because it gives you that added length and makes everything a little more appropriate. If you follow me over on Instagram then you'll have seen my bag dilemma; I was torn between three colours and ended up keeping two - oops! This pink beauty is one of them, it's from New Look and under £10!
