Here's to my last weekly round-up of my holiday in Portugal! I'm back home in the UK now and believe it or not I'm pretty pleased to be home, albeit not for long, I've been missing shopping, friends, and just life back in home in general. So here's to my final round-up of my four weeks in Portugal...
Spent the day at the river. I feel like I spent a substantial amount of my holiday here; it's so serene and really chilled it was lovely to be there and just switch off from everything (literally, there's no phone network!) I also bought a dolphin inflatable because I am so obsessed with every single float I've seen, this one was a kids one though so it couldn't quite cope with all of my weight on top of it and would sink if I went into deep water haha, hence the tactically placed knees which are keeping me afloat! I wore a coveted crochet Triangl bikini under a gorgeous cover up from Beach Cafe, I wish I were at the beach for a little longer so I could have worn it more - I love it!
Visited Guimaraes. Situated close to the city of Porto I'm quite surprised I had never been before, but I went for a quick afternoon visit and it was a really lovely city. There is definitely still so much more to see but from what I saw, it was super picturesque and filled with history! Hopefully I'll visit again and have some better photos to share, I only have a couple taken on my phone.
Focused on last minute tanning. With only a couple of days left of my four weeks holiday I really didn't (and probably still don't) have enough of a tan to show for it, so I made the most of the last few full days I had and tanned, tanned, tanned.
Doughnut worry, it may be all for this years summer, but before we know it it will be summer all over again!
What have you been up to this summer?

Made the most of my summer clothes. I got back on Saturday so I haven't really experienced the British summer but knowing how temperamental it can be I definitely wanted to make sure I made the most of all my summer outfits before it was too late! This one was quite well received over on Instagram (@peexo) so I thought I'd share a couple of the other shots that didn't quite make the cut.

I just love your swimsuit and the river looks and sounds amazing. Glad you had a great holiday and you make me want to go to Portugal someday.

Definitely visit Jackie! Although I would recommend the beaches a little more ;) X
DeleteA four week vacation sounds like absolutely bliss to me right now. It must feel good in a way to be back in the UK, but also a bit bittersweet. Like you, I'm resolving to make the most of the final days of summer and actually get some color! I've been at home in the city all summer, all go go go - with very little time for tanning. This weekend, it's me - the pool - and the sun! :)
