Summertime Trench

I spent a couple of days with my boyfriend who was a babe and took some photos for me (I think my dad just isn't up to all of my demands anymore haha) and he absolutely loathed this outfit! It's funny to think about how differently girls and guys see things; I mean, I think this trench is gorgeous, so sophisticated and stylish but my boyfriend thought the exact opposite! I remember the gorgeous Lizzy of Shot from the Street put together an edit with her boyfriend where they each put together an outfit they considered to be sexy or casual etc. and I really loved that idea, I might have to give it a go with Andre.

I put together this outfit around one key piece, the trench, I love how longline it is and the way it moves with a pair of killer heels it looks exactly that, killa! Keeping the Lavish Alice trench as my statement piece I went for the simple shorts and tee combo consisting of my new favourite denim shorts from ASOS and standard tee from Topshop (my personal faves). For a little more height and a hint of sexy I went with strappy heels - boy am I glad I bought these along with me, I was so close to leaving them behind!
