On day 1 I headed over to Freemasons Hall, home to Fashion Scout, where I went backstage with The Body Shop for a look at what goes on behind the scenes. Makeup for the Lulu Liu show was done using Body Shop products which you can get your hands on in the high street - if it's good enough for the catwalk then it's good enough for me! The makeup for the show was all about that summer glow with a gorgeous highlight on the models. I tried the lip and cheek velvet stick which was also used on the models to create some colour on both their lips and cheeks - the stick gives off a pretty shimmer too which works perfectly on the cheeks as a more natural looking highlight, not to mention how practical it is having one multi-purpose stick.

From this show, what stood out to me the most was all of the fringe! It really looks like fringe is here to stay. I also loved the use of colour once again in this show, tones of blue and red were practically everywhere. The knitwear aspect of this show seems a little strange as it is a spring/summer show but having said that, it all looks very lightweight and really airy. I'm sure we'll be seeing beach cover-ups, knitted dresses and a whole lot of fringe hit the stores next summer if this show is anything to go by.
