So I didn't actually go to this show but I did manage to sneak (and when I say sneak I mean was escorted to haha, I didn't just run around the place) in backstage to have a look at what was going on. This was a much bigger show and in a huge room divided into two sections; we got in as soon as the previous show had ended and as the models were getting out of their previous clothes and getting ready for the next. I always think of models as leading glamorous lives but when you go backstage you realise it really isn't all that it seems. These girls were literally poked and prodded to remove makeup and then reapply it, to have their hair once again completely transformed - it's so much hard work! It almost mirrors a blog post, it takes so much time and effort behind the scenes to put a post together and then when you click publish then that's it - it's out there.
Again for this show The Body Shop products were used for the models makeup and I managed to have a sneak peak at the makeup look and it was quite out there but so gorgeous! I've seen a few photos from another show - I can't remember which one now, obviously - but it looks as if blue mascara is set to become a thing. I've tried blue eyeliner in the past so the next step must be to get some blue mascara going (apparently it brings out brown eyes too!).
