I'm always so excited when I receive a new lipstick but also reluctant to try them and ruin the perfect bullet. These have Sigma embossed on the bullet, another reason why I was reluctant to use them as I don't want to ruin the effect. Nonetheless I tried these and am pretty pleased with the finish which is quite creamy and luscious on the lips.
I also love the packaging as it has a magnetic close which I now know is so important after a mishap in my bag a few days ago when the lid came off one of my lipsticks! It's more hygienic and protects my lipstick as well as my bag, and its contents, from any more mishaps. Although it's definitely going to get messy in my bag as it's just that type of packaging, if you know what I mean...
Bloody Good
I love a red lip, it's by far my go-to on a night out and even for a day out. This is deeper in the bullet than what comes out once applied on the lips but that tends to be the general case with red lipstick. This isn't my favourite shade but it's one I'll add to my collection anyway and probably wear come Spring time!
In Spades
The prettiest pink shade. I loved this more than I thought I would, it's a girly pink which initially intimidated me but after trying it on I really like it. This is the kind of shade I typically choose in the summer, a light pink which compliments tanned skin beautifully and also matches my pink nails!
Recently I've really up'd my brush collection and these have probably been some of my new favourites to reach for on a daily basis. My favourite at the moment has to be the contour brush and I love to look at the fibre brush (still unused because I simply don't want to ruin it with makeup - so silly, I know!) I haven't used every single one yet but I'm sure I'll get around to using them all when I get too lazy to wash them. Basically, if you're a brush novice or if you're looking for a new set to add to your collection, or simply update your collection, then Sigma is the place to look.
Love love love this palette! It was put together by Camila Coelho and who doesn't want to get her look?! I love this because it's got the everyday neutral shades along the top and some darker on the bottom row for a smokey eye, a fab pick for day-to-night. Then comes the fun part in the middle row with shades of purple - a shade I've never before tried on my eyes but I'm looking forward to it! It reminds me of the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani palette with a good mix of neutral shades and some more extravagant ones.
Aptly named 'cor de rosa' which from Portuguese translates to 'pink'; this is such a pretty powdery pink. These are described as powders for all over the face but I wouldn't use this colour for that purpose as I think it's got a bit too much colour for that purpose. Instead I used it as a soft blush colour, and for me this is the perfect shade for the cheeks.
If ever I decide to go for liner I typically choose the liquid form as it's so much easier to use and I find it the easiest to control but I was pleasantly surprised by this gel pot. I used an eyeliner brush which I think is a little on the large side for me as I have small lids but I'm going to continue trialling it and of course update you as I use it more!
And these have been my recent picks from Sigma beauty, it's the first time I try Sigma too so I'd love to know any recommendations you may have from the brand, any must-haves I should try?
Have you tried any Sigma products recently?
It's definitely something I can see myself wearing haha <3
