Going Bold With Colour

I don't wear bright colours often so looking over these photos I'm surprised at just how bright the whole outfit looks. Of course I've juxtaposed the amount of colour with black pieces (it's my fail-safe) but still all I see are bursts of colour! I'm wearing a mustard longline shirt which ideally I would have worn as a dress but my long legs don't make that a possibility unless I want to flash my underwear to the world. Instead I wore a little pair of leather look shorts, I hope to wear more of them in the summer as I don't think they're really city appropriate if I'm completely honest. I love this little bag, it was one of my purchases from the U.S (more on that here), it makes a cross body bag much more chic with the subtle ring detail. And finally, you know the deal by now, some ankle boots - this time a patent pair from Public Desire - and a River Island leather jacket.
