SHOP THE POST:
Not much to report on this week, it's been really uneventful; I must admit summer in Portugal for me is never really fun but this year was such a slow year! It feels as though we've done nothing, believe it or not I haven't even had the chance to tan until last week (just before going back home no less) so it really doesn't feel like I've been on holiday at all!
There's always time for ice-cream though, right?
We made our way down to Amarante to visit the waterpark, it's pretty well-known and we had never been but of course when we got there it was super cloudy and drizzling. We had a look around but obviously we didn't go in, although there were a few people making the most of the empty water slides, we then went for lunch in the area before heading back home. We brought the rain with us because it started to fall just as we arrived!
We caught a gorgeous sunset one evening before dinner and of course I just had to get a snap!
To end the week we went to the Azibo which is an artificial beach, it's basically a huge lake with crystal clear waters - the closest thing to a beach for us - we spent the day there and I finally managed to get a bit of a tan (which isn't noticeable at all) as well as burn (which is noticeable of course).
And just like that, three weeks in Portugal have flown by!
Let me know if you've ever visited Portugal and if so, where did you go?
