SHOP THE POST:
I know summer is now coming to an end for the majority of us but I've spent the past week at a few occasions, two baptisms and a couple of festas which of course are the perfect excuse for a new dress. With this in mind I bought along five dresses to Portugal with me, three of which were lace, and it turns out I'm not the only one who loves wearing lace in the summer (head to my Instagram if you want to see why I say this!) For one of the baptisms I wore this gorgeous baby blue lace dress from Jane Norman - a shop I used to visit when I was much younger and hadn't visited since, so browsing online felt like I was re-living my teenage years.
What sold this dress to me was the sheer lace detailing on the back and sleeves; the buttons along the back are probably my favourite feature. I hold my hands up to committing a fashion faux-pas and wearing a nude bra with it despite the open back, although it really wasn't very noticeable in person I know it probably looks annoying in these photos but I'm not comfortable going braless so I had to get the wonderbra out.

Thank you so much Andini, it's one that was sitting in my wardrobe for so long until I finally decided I should bring it to Portugal - so happy I did as it was perfect for a summer event X
DeleteI love the color and I'm obsessed with my lace dress except mine is a coral red and it's so fun. I love how you accessorize your too.

I have a cute coral lace dress too! I've worn it a couple of times but didn't get any pictures sadly, I'm sure I'll end up wearing it again though. Thanks Jackie X
