I was thinking about the Autumn transition and about just how difficult it can be when you love Summer - I mean, Autumn signifies the end of the warm months and the start of the cold so if you're not a lover of A/W it could come as a shock. When that's the case, what do you do?

Well, I brought out some favourites from both seasons and did some mix and matching to create something that will work as a transitional getup. Starting with shorts, they're obviously not the best for Autumn but, when the sun is shining and the weather isn't too bad you can definitely still get away with your favourite pair of denim shorts, mine are from Gap and I've worn them loads. Paired with a gorgeous blouse which has everything going for it; it's from Closet London - bought via ASOS - and it's the perfect statement for the upcoming months. Ankle boots from Public Desire, naturally. Plus a wide belt and miniature bag which I think are wardrobe must-haves this season!
