Why Every Girl Needs a Duster Coat This Season

When it comes to the changing seasons I always go after the staples, the pieces that I know I'll be able to easily dress up or down no matter what the weather or what I'm up to. I mentioned briefly in a previous post how I often buy into trends because, as a fashion blogger, I feel like I need to test out current trends and also because as an avid fashion lover I genuinely enjoy trying out new trends. Whilst reading through the comments on that post a few of you mentioned how buying into trends isn't top of your list, and instead you buy pieces you know will last all season, or a few seasons (even better!) With that in mind, I decided to scour my wardrobe for my top Autumn seasonal pick.

So I decided the duster coat had to be it, perfect for Spring, Summer and Autumn. This khaki duster coat from Lavish Alice via Brand Attic is a perfect pick - khaki is the best Autumnal colour and can easily be transitioned into Spring and Summer too; but any colour works! Mom jeans are a must for me all year so naturally, I picked out my latest Farleigh's paired with a black roll neck which will forever be a staple piece. I've been loving nude accessories too so I brought forward my nude bucket bag from Zara - which I got so much use out of throughout spring/summer - and some lace up nude flats to get me through the warmer days.
