Spring has been all about stepping out of my comfort zone by adding colour and prints into my wardrobe and so far, I'm loving it!
Hello sunshine! This weekend we welcomed longer days back into our lives and oh boy does it feel good. Life is getting pretty hectic at the moment, there's just so much I want to do but not enough time to do it all. Deadlines are approaching and exams are looming so I'm at that point where I need to prioritise and hopefully be super organised so that the next two months go smoothy - which is easier said than done.
In a bid to keep my mind off of all of the work that needs to be done right now, I've been longing for sunshine so I can finally step in some of my spring picks. I think it's safe to say the most eye-catching piece of this whole outfit is the yellow jacket, it's such a vibrant yellow and in my opinion a biker jacket looks good with everything and is one of the easiest things to add to your current wardrobe. Whenever I experiment with new colours or prints I always like to maintain an element of comfort and with this look it was keeping the rest of the outfit monochrome. I picked out a simple grey Tshirt from ASOS and houndstooth print cropped trousers as opposed to my usual denim choice (the style rut will not defeat me!) these are from New Look so they were pretty affordable and great to if you're trialling new prints like I am. For the final touch, I finished off with some lace up sandals from Public Desire because it's finally starting to look and feel like spring!
By the way, yesterday's video was another How To Style instalment where I tackle yellow; for more ways to wear yellow colour this season head over to my YouTube channel and have a watch.
