When spring comes around (I know I keep going on about spring but I'm excited for the new season, especially now that we've had a glorious week of sunshine!) I tend to gravitate towards dresses and more often than not it's the formal options as opposed to casual day dresses that catch my eye.
I love dresses but I don't get to wear them enough, mostly because I just don't have that many occasions to wear pretty dresses to and I'm not sure whether I could class countless blog posts of dresses as being relatable. Wearing dresses always make me feel so glamorous and I particularly love a figure flattering dress, whether it's figure hugging or just falls in the right places, a dress has the ability to make me feel amazing.
Wallis has a beautiful new collection of dresses for spring, I picked out this gorgeous lilac dress with ruffles running all the way through it as my spring pick. Whether you've got any upcoming weddings or spring parties I think you can easily dress up or dress down this dress. It's the perfect length, I like to call it the mum-approved length, making it perfect for an array of spring events. I'm not one for a halter neck usually but I actually really love how it looks and I think the ruffles make it look even more spring ready as does the fact it's pastel I mean, is there anything that makes you think spring more than pastels? I paired the dress with some gold court heels which shine beautifully in the sunshine and a patent croc clutch bag - the perfect accessory to carry all the essentials.
