My experience with colour over the past month or so has been so much fun, I've fallen in love with both bold and bright colours and it's really inspired me.
I feel like the past month or so has been an experiment for me, trying to deduce which colours work for me and which don't and whether or not I'm comfortable in brights. I've truly loved it and it's definitely made me feel more open to adding colour to my everyday outfits and I'm not afraid to pick up something coloured when shopping now. Not only that, it's helped inspire me outfit-wise and I feel more confident now when it comes to experimenting with prints, styles and colours. I think the best thing to do when you're in a style rut is to throw yourself into the deep end. What started out as "I can't stop wearing mom jeans/denim" eventually turned in to me being so much more comfortable with my style and the ability to pick items that were once too out of my comfort zone for me to try.
Topshop has done really well with its colour delivering this spring, they have so much to choose from both in-store and online - my latest video was a Topshop haul and try-on featuring lots of prints and colour which you can watch here - this red top instantly caught my eye, the slight balloon sleeves and bows scattered around the cuffs and back of the neck really drew me to it as it's somewhat unusual. Paired with a pair of jeans from Paige which are new found favourites of mine and studded ankle boots from Missguided because whatever the weather I'm always up for a pair of ankle boots.
