Golden Hour At The Beach

Last week we were by the sea for a couple of days for a wedding and so naturally, we squeezed in a trip to the beach! We spent most of the day at the beach and then went back to our hotel to shower and change for the evening. One thing I love about being by the beach is the incredible sunset which we made sure we didn't miss!

Despite travelling to Portugal every summer for as long as I can remember, we rarely get the chance to go to the beach. I've mentioned before that my family are based in the North of Portugal - if you want to read a little more then check out my post: The Portugal I Know - so it's often hard to find the time to spend at the beach (as that means leaving family behind) but whenever we do get the chance to go we make the most of it!

After a day at the beach I wanted a quick change into something quite light but also a bit warmer than what have been my typical outfits whilst abroad. I wore some wide leg trousers from New Look which I was dying to wear but hadn't had the chance to yet, they're a pretty good length on me (I'm around 5'9) and come in navy which I'm wearing here and also in red. As the trousers are high waisted, rather than tucking in my vest top, I decided to tie it up instead to cinch in my waist. I've absolutely loved square necks whilst on holiday! I bought a vest top multi pack from ASOS before coming on holiday as I wanted something a little different and I loooove them so much! I bought the multi pack so I have these in both white and black which I love equally - perhaps, the white gets a bit more use though. Paired with some sunglasses of course, these are from Stella & Dot and more of my favourite jewellery at the moment (blog post coming soon!)
