I find this always happens; you initially spot someone wearing a piece you're not too sure about but then you see it rapidly take over in the blogosphere and then stocked in your favourite high street stores and then it somehow ends up making it into your wardrobe (no idea how that happened!) This is how trend led pieces make their way into my wardrobe, not sure about you?
Prince of Wales check has been quite a hit over the past month or so, basically as soon as we realised summer was over these blazers came into play pretty quickly. Admittedly, I wouldn't say I'm a blazer person myself however, I've found longline blazers so versatile! I've been planning loads of different outfits around blazers; I've scoured Instagram for inspiration - which isn't hard to find at the moment as it seems everybody is wearing these blazers - and searched for some on Lyst where it's just so simple to browse on trend pieces from a variety of different shops, at various different price points. Check out their piece titled Heritage Blazers are Trending for some other great blazers. I think it's safe to say that blazers are definitely hot right now!

Since coming back from my holiday I haven't really known how to dress. I was away for three weeks which is a really long time to be away from home and a particularly long time to be away from the temperamental UK weather! I was so used to my summer wardrobe, the constant feeling of being too hot and reaching for shorts, camisoles and dresses on a daily basis.
Now that I'm back, that has changed drastically! On my first day back in London I wore a long-sleeve dress (this one from my Instagram if you're wondering) with black leather ankle boots but I was far too hot walking around the city so, the day after I went out in a white Tshirt and mom jeans but was too cold - there's just no middle! It's either a great day or a rubbish one, I think I'm finally starting to understand the English obsession with cracking out the shorts and sandals as soon as the sun makes its first appearance during the summer, it's never around for too long!
Despite this, I've still managed to wear some of my summer favourites whilst back at home. I actually filmed a video on my most worn pieces this summer, which you can watch on my YouTube channel (here) if you're interested in seeing what I wore non-stop on holiday. One thing I'm sure I'll be transitioning into my autumn wardrobe is gold jewellery. I'm wearing a small gold pendant necklace from Thomas Sabo and another gold necklace which has my name in Arabic on it, a kind gift my uncle bought me in Dubai. Sadly it's a little too cold for vests and camisoles now so I replaced my most-worn with a long sleeved black top from New Look.

There are a lot of pieces from my summer wardrobe that I can't really wear anymore but there are others that I'm still trying to make the most of. Starting with my denim mom shorts from ASOS, they're a blue denim wash which I absolutely love as I find they're easy to throw on with just about everything. Over the summer I would wear these with a black square-neck vest top, I've loved the square-neck vest tops from ASOS which I bought in both black and white before heading off on holiday and got so much wear out of them. I'm considering buying the long-sleeved versions for the colder months ahead.
One thing I love about denim shorts, and these in particular, is the mom fit which gives me a little more room around my bum and thighs so I don't feel like I'm literally being sucked into a pair of shorts that then become both tight and unflattering. These are a really great length too (when I bought these I cut through the stitching on the sides so I could bring down the hem making them the perfect length on me, no bum-skimming shorts here!) For some reason, I think denim shorts are far more summery than a denim skirt is so I'm on the lookout for a skirt to replace these but I can't seem to find any that have a flattering fit and are long enough for me - any denim skirt suggestions would be appreciated!
I've been rummaging through my wardrobe trying to make the most of what I have out at the moment - I haven't dared face transitioning my wardrobe from summer to autumn just yet! I had a huge clearout before heading off on holiday and I think the same will happen again which I'm just not ready for; I currently have bags of clothes filling the corridor which I desperately need to get rid of. I have quite a few things up on my Depop at the moment (search 'peexo' on the app) so if you fancy having a look through my wardrobe then now is your chance! I'm thinking about going to a carboot sale with a lot of pieces and then taking whatever doesn't sell to a charity shop as I just can't keep it all sadly.
Aim in life: to have a very big walk-in wardrobe so I can keep everything!
