I associate a trench coat with being traditionally British, I don't know why,
perhaps it's because Burberry is one of the most iconic British brands known
for its classic trench coat. When thinking about what to share today I briefly
scanned the weather app on my phone and noticed that we should be expecting
sunshine today (finger's crossed I haven't jinxed this by writing the night
before!) and so I thought it was the perfect time to talk about the
lightweight outerwear piece that I often gravitate towards at this time of
year.

I've had these photos sitting in a folder on my computer for a few weeks,
since September actually! So I thought it was finally time I share them. We've
seen how
Prince of Wales check
and check print in general has been such a huge hit this season so naturally,
I've felt the need to add a whole lot of it into my wardrobe!
SHOP MY FAVOURITE CHECK PIECES:
There are so many classics in my wardrobe that I simply adore and know I will
continue to get a lot of use from in years to come but then there are also
those pieces that offer a twist on the classic, I may not get as much use out
of them in years to come but they're a perfect way to add
something different to your style now.
My twist on the classic trench is from Missguided and I've spotted similar on New Look recently too! See that here. I wore a pretty simple look really, a basic black crew neck top from New Look and my favourite ASOS mom jeans of course. If you're ever interested in which jeans I'm wearing it's almost always the ASOS Farleigh jeans. My bag is from Pinko, which I believe is last season's design, but they have many others this season which are equally as beautiful. Check out this season's new Pinko bags here. Finally, these boots are way out of my comfort zone but such a statement piece - again, from New Look!
