How to do Halloween even if you're not doing Halloween? Now bare with me, I'll explain... This year, Halloween falls on a Tuesday and whilst those of us who will be celebrating (read: using Halloween as an excuse to get dressed up and go out out) over the weekend, what do we actually do on October 31st when most of us will be back to our mundane day-to-day routine? If you love Halloween but aren't quite sure about what to do or how to dress on the day then this post is for you!
SHOP THE POST;
Biker jacket // Floral headband // Dress // Ankle boots // Tassel earrings // Faux fur bag // Trick or Treat purse
And it's not all about the outfit come Halloween, accessories play just as big of a part. I added this faux fur bag for a bit of fun and I also popped in a cute Trick or Treat purse because why not go all out?! Tassel earrings are so popular at the moment so I wore a black pair (which would stand out even more with hair tied up) and I also popped on a lip tint moisturising balm in the shade berry pink which adds a nice subtle colour to my lips.

Staying in? Don't worry, I've got you covered too!
I'm such a sucker for all things seasonal. I mean, I went to a pumpkin patch at the start of the month so if that isn't proof then I don't know what is! I've been very excited for Halloween and already planning my Halloween night which I'm pretty sure will consist of watching the Bake Off (obviously) and some Halloween movies in between.
I blame my mum for my love of all things seasonal, she's already been out and bought Halloween candles and crackers - who even knew those were a thing?! And she was pretty happy to shoot these blog photos for me which she never does and will always prompt me to ask my dad to help me shoot whenever I ask. So much to my surprise, she agreed to shoot this post for me and now we're both very much ready for Halloween! Now that my Halloween decorations have popped up in my room they'll be staying until next week and I've already got my outfits covered for day-time and the evening too!
Decor wise, I came across these Halloween garlands and I was quite quickly sold on the idea. I picked out this wooden pumpkin bunting for a bit of fun and a gold Trick or Treat garland (clearly I'm very keen on the idea of trick or treating this year!) I also have some novelty Halloween glasses which will be perfect to set around the table and have a bit of a laugh with family and friends.
I couldn't resist this boootiful Tshirt, you probably know how much I love Tshirts like this one so it was a no-brainer for me. There are actually so many amazing slogan Tshirts on the New Look website so I would definitely check that out if you want something to get you in the Halloween mood! At home I like to feel comfortable so I picked some velvet high waisted leggings to go with my Tshirt, I feel a bit more put together in something like this as opposed to lounging in my pyjama bottoms.

I love how chic you look! I definitely prefer the idea of playing with a look to make it a little spooky but not full on fancy dress!
