I am oh so excited about welcoming November! I'm a winter girl at heart and just absolutely love the winter months. Yes, it gets colder, too cold at times, and yes it now gets dark at around 4pm but nothing beats cosy evenings spent indoors wrapped up on the sofa watching TV (this makes me want to do this right now!) October pretty much felt like a Halloween month but now that's over the focus turns to the countdown to Christmas!

Now for the unseen of my outfit.. If you follow me on Instagram then you'll probably recognise this outfit as I've shared it there a couple of times. I wore this dress with over the knee boots from Public Desire which were a lovely surprise gift from the girls at PD. As soon as these arrived I was itching to try them as knee high boots can be really tricky to master. I'm a UK size 7 shoe which is kind of big I'd say and it would seem my legs don't really correlate and the majority of knee high boots I've had have been too baggy (although it would be the case that baggy over the knee boots are now on trend). These fit like a glove, I didn't need to push them up at all and because they're a flat boot they were just a fab new addition! I feel like I'm writing this all in vain as you can't actually see them in this blog post but head to my Instagram for some photos and I'm sure they will make their first appearance soon!

These photos weren't actually intended for a blog post, they were meant to be thumbnails for one of my YouTube videos hence why half of my outfit is basically cut out! So for that reason I'll keep today's post short and sweet for you with some ramblings about what I'm wearing - as well as what you can't see I was wearing.
Starting with this pretty incredible jumper dress from Missguided, which for some reason has a bit of a strange neckline going on in these photos. I can't remember whether this odd neckline situation was down to my hair only covering one side of me or if it's down to the movement of the dress. Either way, I didn't notice it up until now so it clearly didn't bother me and must have just photographed funny. I had my go-to Carvela black crossbody bag from Shoeaholics and some autumnal statement earrings from New Look. I had a yellow pair from Johnny Loves Rosie which I was obsessed with throughout the summer so I'm very happy to have found a more autumnal pair. Now for the unseen of my outfit.. Oooh, this jumper is so cute! The boots sound lovely. I really enjoy a good oversized knit.
