I filmed my monthly favourites yesterday which always makes me look back on the beauty products I've tried: the ones I've really loved and the ones I haven't been so impressed by. This month was a real struggle to find new beauty items to include as I feel like I've found some true staples of mine, products that I really love and revert to time and time again (or in some cases, just never stop using until they run out!) So I wanted to put together a little something on some newly discovered products from this year and I couldn't resist popping in a couple of old favourites too! I absolutely want to work on sharing more beauty on my blog so I hope you enjoy seeing more beauty popping up every now and again.
*SHOP THE POST:
*La Vie Est Belle Perfume, Lancome
[gifted]
This has been a favourite of mine for the longest time, it's a scent that I constantly revert back to. I'm a big lover of sweet scents and La Vie Est Belle is the perfect mix of a sweet smelling perfume that isn't too young. I think there's a real struggle in finding sweet perfumes that aren't too sickly sweet or that give off a scent that you would associate with a teenager as opposed to a twenty-something year old but this perfume manages to elevate a sweet scent which is why it so quickly became a favourite of mine.

*Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, The Body Shop

After finishing off yet another Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (that stuff is just so good!) I put this to the test. I've heard a lot of people rave about it and so I've been itching to try it for the longest time and can you blame me? At such an affordable price, only £10, it's a must-try and I can't believe I waited this long to give it a go! This is fairly new to me, I first tried it in January but this has quickly climbed to joint top, it's a more affordable price point and doesn't irritate my eyes which is something nearly all cleansers do so I couldn't be more impressed with it! It's also great for travelling because it's quite compact and works so well to remove my eye makeup (even waterproof!) so I don't need to pack multiple beauty products for my travels.

*Bare Haven Moisturiser, bareMinerals
[gifted]
I've been using a mini version of this moisturiser since December and I love it! It's great for both day time and night time which is ideal when travelling (a lot of mentions of travelling because I've been on a few overnight stays and a couple of trips so far this year which you can read more of in my blog post: My 2019 Travel Plans) as it means one less product I need to pack. It's a creamy consistency which soaks in to the skin really beautifully. It's also works well under makeup which is ideal because I rarely leave a big gap between my morning skincare and applying my makeup so the more seamless, the better!

*Ready, Set, Brows, Benefit
[gifted]
Benefit is known for its brow range but I feel like Ready, Set, Brow is probably one of their most underrated eyebrow products. It's really large and lasts so long, I've been using this non-stop for what feels like ever! The applicator is quite large in comparison to other products, like the cult classic from Benefit, *Gimme Brow for example, but I don't mind the larger wand because it's still compact enough to comb through my eyebrows with ease (it's still much smaller than a mascara wand). It has different bristle lengths on either side which is great to achieve different looks and it's clear! It's the only solely clear brow gel Benefit do but I'm pretty sure their Gimme Brow is also available in clear - which is my personal preference for a brow setting gel.

*Face Palette, It Cosmetics
Oh I simply love this! I've been using it pretty much daily for the past couple of months and I don't see myself tiring of it any time soon. Bronzer, highlighter and more recently blusher, are my favourite steps when it comes to my makeup as I really feel they completely transform and finish off a look. I never feel complete without them! I have never used a face palette before but wow this saves so much time when I'm getting ready in the mornings and it's perfect to pop in your handbag for a top-up during the day and it's an ideal compact for travelling too. Basically, it ticks all the boxes and I love each product individually too making it an all-round perfect palette and one I've quickly become obsessed with!

I LOVE that Lancome perfume as well. Been wearing it a lot lately and receive so many compliments on it when I do. Such an unsung favorite!

I completely agree, it's such a beautifully grown up scent but still playfully sweet which I love!
